Level : Orkut checks if your system
is having any active/expired
cookie in your system 3. Third
Level : Google applies a secure
redirection to the account

Hacking Orkut Accounts using
KeyLoggers Hackers use
keyloggers to steal your Orkut
login password and hack
accountsIt ’s probably the simplest
way to hack someone’s Orkut ID
even without having much
hacking knowledge. Keylogger is a
software used to monitor every
action on a computer and send the
usages data anonymously to a
remote server by email. Suppose
you want to hack my Orkut profile.
You come to me, use my system
and install the keylogger on my
computer without my knowledge.
Professional hackers can send you
a single picture by email, when
you download that image on your
computer and click on it to view,
the keylogger will automatically
get installed on your computer in a
background process. You won ’t

PHP script keeps your details and

names. By an email or scrap or
message, they send you a link.

password in those pages, be sure
that your profile is gone for ever.
That link will be 90% identical with

www.orkut.com 3. Orkut Hacking
by Orkut New Features There are
several third party sites who claim
to provide some cool features on
Orkut and ask you to sign in there
with your Orkut ID and password.
Remember, once you sign in with
your Orkut details on a site other
than Orkut, you are exposing your
personal details there. Who knows,
if they are going to add some extra
features to your Orkut profile or
they are trying to gather your
personal informations. I personally
know few people, who lost their
accounts within few hours of
entering their details on an another
site. Bapun Suggests : 1. Never
share your Orkut login
informations on a site other than
Orkut. 2. Be aware of sites like
PowerScraps, Way2SMS etc.
(Official Orkut forum suggests not
to use these two sites) 3. If you
have already signed in with those
sites, change your password,
security question and it ’s answer,
secondary mail immediately.
Never sign in to those sites with
your new password. 4. Orkut
Password Hacking using
JavaScripts Many sites provide
JavaScripts to run on Orkut to do
various things. As far as I know,
there are JavaScripts for Orkut
scrapbook flooding, Orkut auto
scrap delete, increase fans, remove
friends automatically, add
someone to your friend list
automatically, community auto
topic posting, community poll
flooding and so on. But since many
innocent Orkut users are not
familiar with Javascript codes,
hackers fool Orkut users by saying
some wonderful Orkut tricks and
then hijacking their entire profile.
A small JavaScript code can not
only hack your Orkut profile, it
may lead to hack all your private
informations from your computer.
Lastly, I want to remind you one
thing, use this article for

How To Prevent Hacking Of your
Account-->Hacking Orkut accounts
is not a big deal for professional
hackers and here I ’ve also written

your account, you need to take
maximum care of your account. If
you act careless with your account,
there is a chance of getting your
Orkut profile hacked. This is not a
though task to protect your
account, all you need is to follow
some simple rules while on Orkut.
Of course, I will talk about the

What should I do? 1. Change your
Orkut account password at least
once a month. And yup, don ’t even
think of using any of your old
password again. 2. Change your
account security question and it’s
answer frequently. 3. If you find
any community in your community

unjoin it immediately. If you feel
anything fishy about this, report
abuse that community. 4. If you
see any person in your friends list
without your approval, delete him
immediately. 5. If you are using a
public computer, sign out each time
you are done with Orkut. What
should NOT I do? 1. Never share
your password with anyone. (Not
even with your girl friend, you
never know when you guys will
break up :P ) 2. Never use any third
party javascript codes on Orkut.
Some scripts are specially designed
to hack people’s account
passwords. 3. Never click on any
link from Orkut. Hackers use some
malicious link codes to hack
accounts. 4. Never allow any other
site to access your Orkut account
for any reason. (Ex :
www.PowerScrap.com,
www.way2sms.com) 5. Never
select the “Remember me on this
computer” option if you are not
using your personal system.

task though. If you are planning to
appeal against this illegal hacking
of your account, you need to
provide them all your account
related details. They need these
details to confirm if you are the
real owner of that account or not.
Report Google about this hacking
and appeal to do the needful here.

Generally they take 2-3 days of
time to investigate and reply. If
your Gmail ID was associated with
Orkut account and you can’t access
any of your Google services, they
will try to communicate with you
on your secondary email address.
If you don ’t have access to your
secondary email address anymore,
you can mention that thing in the
appealing form, but then you have
to provide them other account
related informations accurately.
Following the above step will help
you in getting back your hacked
account in a short period of time.
But remember to change your
password as soon as you get back
your account and never repeat
your mistakes again
